I’m such a degenerate sometimes. I can’t seem to stay away from gambling the pittance of money I have to try and make more monies. I came across this online betting site, bet365, where you can make wagers on anything. What the hell is Futsal? You can even bet on Gaelic sports. Unfortunately, or fortunately for me, it doesn’t look like you can sign up if you’re in the United States. So if you’re not in the US, you’re good to go. Damn the US government, I was really itching to bet on table tennis. Seriously, there’s a casino and poker available too. What’s impressive is that they’re setup for mobile users. Now if you’re betting on your phone, you’re a real degenerate. I think that’s why there are also links for Responsible Gaming on the site. Maybe I can have my friends in Canada sign up!

I wish they never passed that bill to forbid US banks from depositing money to online poker sites. It’s not really harder now but there are less sites that allow US players. The last time I signed up I found out you can get deposit bonuses. I just found a website, http://www.topusaonlinecasinos.com/, that shows you what kind of bonus you can get from sites that allow US players. It’s a pretty clean site and straight forward. There are also ratings and reviews that you can see before you pick which site you want to play at. I like when things are laid out for me. There are definitely some donkeys out there that just throw cash in to your lap. So far I’ve encountered a lot of that. I’ve been too chicken to play higher stakes. The biggest thing I always look at is the bonus size. Who doesn’t like free cash? Sometimes I have to prevent myself from playing too much. The wife tends to get upset. She’s ok when she sees my account balance though.

Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius were involved in the biggest cash game hand I’ve heard of, in the Million Dollar Cash Game.
Here is how it went down just before 9 PM:
Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius, mano a mano. The board on the turn was Ac-As-Jc-5d.
Ivey bet $100,000 and Patrik called.
The river was the queen of hearts.
There was $325,000 in the pot. Phil took a long, long time thinking of the initial action. I estimate about four minutes, because it seemed like an hour. I wrote on a note card, looking at the video monitor in the bar showing both mens’ faces, “A couple fierce looking warrior He bet $225,000. Allen Cunningham had walked back to the bar and said, “Phil just breathed a sigh of relief because Patrik didn’t call right away.” He predicted A-K for Ivey.
Patrik is looking at his chips, putting aside the $225,000, and holding his finger to his lips. THIS thinking looks a lot different than the “thinking” he was doing before the check-raise against Townsend. After a couple minutes, he quietly said, “‘I call.”
Ivey turned over J-J for a full house. Patrik mucked.
One hand! Remember, this is not a tournament so all those chips are real money and not tournament chips. If only I was better at poker.
